Un-milled Grain

Grains that have not been milled will typically last for a year if:

  • The grain is kept dry and stored in a well-ventilated place. (Do not use air-tight containers.)
  • Temperatures are less than 68°F.

Milled Grain

  • Grain recently milled will last 72 hours before it begins to go rancid.
