Creamy Pink Tomato Sauce - 8 servings

  • 1/2 lb Happy Harvest mushrooms, stems & pieces
  • 2 green bell peppers, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 lb B Bar Ground Beef, 85% lean
  • 1 lb Premium Pride pork sausage
  • 1-3/4 quarts Mama Cozzi spaghetti sauce (two jars)
  • 1/2 lb Happy Farms cream cheese

Coarsely chop bell peppers and onions. Brown ground beef and sausage over medium-high heat. Drain off grease. Sauté peppers and onions until onions clarify. Add back the meat. Stir. Add in drained mushrooms. Continue cooking for 2-3 minutes.

Add in both jars of sauce. Bring just to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Add entire block of cream cheese and gently stir until all of the cream cheese has melted and sauce has turned an orange-pinkish color. Season to taste with oregano and garlic. Continue to simmer 20-40 minutes to combine all flavors.

Serve over pasta.
