Breakfast Cake - 6 servings

  • 1/4 cup Happy Farms sweet cream butter, salted
  • 1/2 cup Friendly Farms milk, 2% reduced fat
  • 1 Goldhen grade A large egg (beaten)
  • 1 cup Grandma's Best all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Sweet Harvest granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp Baker's Corner baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp Sebree iodized salt
  • 2 tbsp Sweet Harvest granulated sugar (for topping)
  • 1/2 tsp Spice Club ground cinnamon (for topping)

Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease 8x8 in. square pan.

Melt butter; cool slightly and add milk and beaten egg. Set to the side.

In bowl, sift the next four (4) ingredients two times. Add butter and milk and egg mixture; stir only enough to smooth out any lumps.

Combine the remaining sugar and cinnamon for the topping in a small bowl or in a resealable plastic bag.

Pour batter into greased pan and sprinkle the mixture of sugar and cinnamon over the top and bake 12 to 15 minutes.
