Grandma's Best all-purpose flour

1/4 tsp
Baker's Corner baking soda

1-1/3 tbsp
Baker's Corner baking powder

1 tsp
Sebree iodized salt
-
1 tbsp
Sweet Harvest granulated sugar

1/3 cup
vegetable shortening
-
1 cup
Friendly Farms 1% cultured buttermilk

1/3 cup
Happy Farms sweet cream butter, salted
Preheat oven to 425°F. Mix dry ingredients together. Using fingertips, cut shortening into dry ingredients. With a fork, stir in buttermilk until everything is wet. Turn onto well floured surface. Turn over one time. Pat out into about .75 in. thickness. Cut into biscuits. Paint with melted butter. Put onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until tops and bottoms are nicely browned.
